Cancel a Performance Document

 

Cancel a Performance Document when it does not accurately describe the tasks and standards an employee is to perform to carry out a job. If the performance document only needs slight adjustment, you might choose to open it and revise it, rather than cancel it.

 

The most likely reason you will cancel a performance document is because the employee's former HHS manager did not complete an evaluation of the employee on his or her termination. In this case, the employee's performance document from the previous job will transfer to the new job. If the old performance document is not relevant, cancel it and create a new one. If you cancel a performance document for an employee, you will need to create a new one as all employees are to have a Performance Document in place that describes your expectations for job performance.

Select the Manager Self-Service link. The Manager Self-Service menu items will display.

Select the Performance Management Home link. The items of the Performance Management menu will display.

Select the Cancel Performance Documents link. The Cancel Documents employee selection page will display.

4.

Select the Checkbox next to the name or names of employees for whom you wish to Cancel Performance Documents.

5.

Select the Continue button. The Confirm Cancellation page will display.

6.

Select the Save button to cancel performance documents for the employee or employees listed on the Confirm Cancellation page. The Save Confirmation page will display.

7.

Select the OK button. You will be returned to the Cancel Documents page. End.
